Biography:
Nik Kalyani is a technology entrepreneur and founder of NftyDreams DAO for artists and Hyperverse DAO for developers. NftyDreams is on a mission to give artists a sustainable income through art NFTs, while the Hyperverse helps onboard web2 developers to web3. Kalyani previously founded four tech startups with two exits. The most notable was DNN, a broadly used Open Source CMS on the Microsoft tech stack. He has also helped thousands of developers learn blockchain programming through his work on Udacity’s Blockchain Nanodegree. Kalyani resides in Mountain View, California, where he pursues his passion of voiding warranties on technology gadgets.

Almost exactly 400 years after the last art renaissance, NFTs have rekindled interest, excitement and growth for an artful future as more and more artists embrace web3. In this session, Kalyani explores the top challenges facing Web3 artists, new approaches to monetizing NFT art and the need for greater collaboration between developers and artists to make art more experiential and grow the NFT Art Renaissance.
