Biography:
Dejan has been an entrepreneur all his life. He started his first start-up when he was sixteen and never looked back. In his twenties, he founded ABC Accelerator, connecting startups all over Europe and in Silicon Valley. It functioned as an acceleration engine that pushes new businesses and startups to greater heights, connecting them with industry-specific partners, investors, and mentors. ABC Accelerator has invested in more than 150 startups worldwide. It was named the Best Accelerator and Incubator Programme of 2017.
In 2017, Dejan founded Eligma, a company for smart commerce solutions. Eligma is becoming a global facilitator of seamless and secure digital payments. It utilizes blockchain technology to establish communication standards for crypto payment networks and runs an infrastructure of more than 68.000 stores and services accepting 50+ cryptocurrencies. More than 150 million users are currently using its services. As a true pay tech visionary, Dejan has already envisioned his future of payments – the so-called GoCrypto 2.0, which is being developed at this very moment. GoCrypto’s upgraded solution GoCrypto 2.0 will enable truly decentralized payments. The merchant can accept virtually any currency and receive the settlement in its desired cryptocurrency without any central entity.
Besides Eligma, he is also a co-founder of Viberate, the world’s largest resource of reliable information on all things music to map and standardize the entire global music ecosystem. He is also a Board member of Truhoma, the first Slovenian blockchain-based philanthropic platform, a marketplace where donors, donées, and charities connect, eliminating the need for (and the high cost of) millions of charity distribution operations worldwide. He is also an industry advisor and thought leader at Cryptonite Ventures, a community of world-leading blockchain developers and industrials.
