Biography:
Mate is an entrepreneur at heart. He first heard about bitcoin in late 2012 and started to do bitcoin mining in mid-2013 with custom-built ASIC miners.
In 2013 he founded a cryptocurrency media company called Bitcoinist.com.
After a successful exit in 2015, Mate met Roger Ver and Co-founded Bitcoin.com. Mate focuses on a broader vision and communicating that vision to others while staying on top of industry trends. His passion outside of the crypto industry is watching. He has been a watch enthusiast for 20 years. His favorite brands are Patek and AP.
Currently, he is the CEO of a Dubai-based media company called MetaNews.com.
